DYNAWEED 101 is a modified silicone antifoam, very effective also as deaerating and surface-tension modification additive.
DYNAWEED 101 is suited to break down very strong foam, also in situation with low/high pH, high foaming solutions due to caustic or cationic surfactants; high temperature and mechanical stress.
Is very useful where the foam has “sponge” appearance, showing very little air bubbles that need to be destroyed via surface tension lowering.
DYNAWEED 101 is used in a variety of industrial situations, like: water and solvent based paints, detergents with high alkalinity, cutting oils, textile auxiliaries, and all situations where the foam is difficult to break.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
DYNAWEED 101 has good solubility in water and various solvents, also in presence of low viscosity systems. Is anyway advisable carrying out preliminary tests to assess suitability and actual dosages.
General suggestion is about using 1 to 3 parts of product for 1000 parts of liquid to treat
